I want to be an astronaut,
I want to be a singer,
And I want to be a dancer.
Think back as a kid, whenever somebody asked us “what you desire to become?”
With sparkles in our eyes and optimistic outlook, we used to say “I want to be…”
Years passed away in a blink of an eye and suddenly we turn into adults.
Then the reality showed its true colours.
We suddenly forget our dream of becoming a dancer, a musician, a painter and accept reality.
Soon we start running in the rat race.
In our pursuit to win the never ending rat race, we forget our real dream. We compromise our dreams for a bigger paycheck.
To find more details about our childhood dreams, I asked my friends ‘what were your childhood dreams?’
I got interesting replies such as pilot, teacher, army officer, singer, but one of my friends replied that as a kid, he always knew what he wanted to become.
I asked him ‘what?’
He said-
I always wanted to be MYSELF.
I always wanted to remember that I am surrounded by my loved ones.
I always wanted to remember that through my sheer will power, I can accomplish anything in the universe.
And every day, I am proving to be just myself.
The truthfulness in his answer moved me and at that instant, I realized that “To be myself is the most difficult dream to live”.
Dear readers,
Never forget to be yourself and have faith in your dreams.

PrAts!
While composing this blog, two thoughts came to my mind which I have marked down.
Thought 1 – As a kid, I wanted to a commando who protects our border from intruders, kills bad people and of course gets to fire those awesome rocket launchers.
Then I realized, army requires discipline and waking up early in the morning so I thought I should become a doctor as it is the noblest and the most respectable profession, but then I realized that to become a doctor means studying for the next 13 years.
Hence I weighed my option on a scale.
On one scale, I had an option to study for 13 years while on the other scale, the option was to study for 4 years.
Well, you all know the decision made by me.
Thought 2 – Life is its own biggest irony. We are always told “now you have become an adult, act responsibly” and when we take charge of our actions, we are told “you don’t know anything, you are just a kid”.
Nice Thoughts Khammy Love reading ur blogs
