It’s my hundred fiftieth blog. A huge achievement, but what should I write about?
After spending weeks thinking about it, I decided to write about
‘Sense of achievement’
When does the true sense of achievement come?
When you accomplish a task, however small it might be. Feeling of pride comes only after completing it.
The difference between a self-made millionaire and an ordinary person is ‘they finish what they start’.
Whenever you lose the spirit to continue, imagine the happiness of accomplishing the task.
That feeling is the best.
But temptations are strong. You always feel tempted to watch a YouTube trailer or latest Hindi movies over finishing your work.
You say to yourself “just half an hour more, I will do it” and so on that half an hour turns into several hours.
When the day ends, you regret wasting your precious hours, but this vicious cycle continues.
This has happened to me countless times.
It’s easy to start something, but difficult to finish it.
Seeing those videos make for temporary happiness followed by long guilt of regret of wasting time.
In long run, you will be happy only when you accomplish something.
Make achievement your source of happiness, you’ll never be sad in your life.
Throw away your laziness, stop watching those episodes and work harder to achieve your goals.
In future whenever you will think about those sleepless nights, you will feel proud and happy.
Keep doing whatever you are doing &
“Go all the way, it could mean not eating for 3 or 4 days.
It could mean freezing on a parch bench.
It could mean jail, it could mean derision, mockery, isolation.
Isolation is gift.
All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it.
Despite rejection and the worst odds and it will better than anything else you imagine.
If you’re going to try,
Go all the way.
There is no other feeling like that.
You will be alone with the gods and the nights will flame with fire.
Do it, do it, do it, do it.”
Dear readers, three years ago when I started blogging I never thought I would be writing 150 blogs. My journey would be incomplete without your support and love. Thank You!
