Diwali marks the victory of good over evil but for me it always has a different significance , during school days I use to eagerly wait for the Diwali .
Why ?
Because of the sheer joy of not going to school for 10 days was amazing as well as exciting.
It’s being 6 years since I have been to home for Diwali and my mom asked me “Are you coming home this Diwali” , I replied “NO” But I am going home tomorrow to give my parents a surprise .
We are all busy in race to achieve our dreams & we tend to lose our grip over relationship, since last Diwali I have made a resolution to myself to call and wish every friend & relative .
My dad use to receive lots of gifts during Diwali . I had a simple formula whether i like that person or not “More the expensive the gift , more I like that particular person” & one of my favorite at that time was a Sardarji who use to bring beautiful and expensive gifts for everyone in the family but now I am not 12 year old kid and I have realized that
“love cannot be bought except by love.”
