“Do you miss home?”
“Hell yeah, absolutely, there is not even a single moment when I haven’t thought about India, my family and friends whom I miss a lot”.
I miss broken Indian system where you 100% implement right to freedom 😛 Think about it, you can do whatever you want – you can break traffic rules, express your opinion and abuse anyone without being labelled racist 😛
Staying in a foreign land has made me realized one thing – “it’s all in the mind”
A state of happiness is nothing but my state of mind. For instance, my happiness state hit rock bottom when a deadline is approaching while it’s sky high once the deadline is over.
Really think about it.
Why can’t we be happy now?
Why we easily get affected by external factors?
“Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.” – Dalai Lama
It’s easy to say and write, but I hope I am able to implement it.
P.S 1 – I know my post frequency has reduced. I have lots of experiences to share, but no time to write about it. I’m doing good here but extremely busy. I live my life from one assignment deadline to another. Need to stop doing that 😛
P.S 2 – If you are into poetry, read the next line else skip.
Met a liberal art fellow who recommended his favorite poem LOVE – III by GEORGE HERBERT. Do read it and explain it to me. 😛 😛
Cheers
your prAts!
Hey prateek, feels great to hear from you
Keep blogging, I love to read your blogs!!!
I could add a line to it: “A Smile is the only known way to create Energy. After that it radiates and fills the atmosphere around with more like its own. Smile and let the energy flow”
P.S.- Please explain the last lines of the poem to me too when somebody explains them to u.
Nice …
